培养基 The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: heat-inactivated iron supplemented bovine calf serum to a final concentration of 10%
传代方法 Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:5 every 3 - 4 day is recommended
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
Subcultures are prepared by scraping. Dislodge cells from the flask substrate with a cell scraper. Aspirate gently and dispense into new flasks. Seed flasks at 2 X 10exp5 viable cells/ml.

描述 This cell line was established by P.A. Campbell and E.P. Canono in 1991. Percoll gradient purified, proteose peptone elicited peritoneal macrophage cells from C57BL/6N mice were fused with drug selected P388D1 mouse macrophage tumor cells.
Since intracellular Listeria escape into the cytoplasm where they replicate, the cell line is a useful tool in the study of the permissive intracellular growth cycle of Listeria.
Unlike H36.12j (ATCC CRL-2449), the cells do not produce tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) upon direct beryllium stimulation.;This cell line was established by P.A. Campbell and E.P.
